Deleting an Alarm Configuration

Remove an alarm from Control Center.

  • To delete an alarm configuration:
    1. On the Alarm notifications list page, find the alarm you want to delete. If you need help finding the Alarm notifications list page, see Listing Alarms.
    2. From the Actions menu (three dots) for that alarm, select Delete alarm.
    3. Confirm the deletion.
    The alarm and its associated configurations are removed. No further notifications are sent for this alarm.

  • Use the oci demand-signal occ-metric-alarm delete command and required parameters to delete an alarm:

    oci demand-signal occ-metric-alarm delete --occ-metric-alarm-id <matric-alarm_OCID> [OPTIONS]

  • Run the DeleteOccMetricAlarm operation to delete an alarm.
