The image shows a single Exascale Vault tenancy, deployed with Oracle Database 19c, and uses Exascale block storage for the databases. This database vault contains two VM clusters, VM cluster 1 and VM cluster 2. Each VM cluster contains CDBs. VM cluster 1 is identified by callout 2. It contains CDB1 and CDB2, and also an Oracle ASM instance associated with VM Cluster 1, which is identified by callout 4. VM cluster 2 contains CDB3 and CDB4, and also an Oracle ASM instance associated with VM Cluster 2. Each CDB has a file system on the Exascale Storage Cloud that contains three Exadata Direct Volumes. The one for CDB 1 is labeled as DB-Vault1, and is identified with callout 5. DB-VAULT1 contains the dynamic volumes DATAVOL1, RECOVOL1, and LOGVOL1. In addition, there are VM file system storage volumes that are contained in a fileystem area called SYSTEM-VAULT, which is identified by callout 3. The entire tenancy is located on an Oracle cloud.
