Setting the Serial Console Passphrase Expiration Period

On a Roving Edge device, you can set the passphrase expiration period. By default, the passphrase expires 30 days after the passphrase was created or changed.

1. Connect to the serial console. See Operating the Serial Console.
2. If the serial console screen is locked, enter the passphrase to access the menu.

3. In the serial console, select the Advanced Menu, then Passphrase Management menu options.

4. Select No. of days before passphrase expires (Default: 30)..

5. Enter the number of days until passphrase expires (1-90, counted from when the passphrase was created or changed).
